OBJECTIVE AND SCOPE

The course will cover ballistic testing techniques for standard small and standard large caliber gun and ammunition systems; testing of explosives and large caliber shaped charges; classification and storage regulations and procedures for explosives; armor acceptance testing; US vs NATO standardization(small and large caliber); internal, intermediate and terminal ballistics instrumentation and techniques for measuring ballistic phenomena; and test facilities, their design, local and environmental, noise and blast considerations, safety, and standard testing and operating procedures and methodology.
