MWB/LB-100 : Modeling & Simulation : Overview, Applications, Analysis & Acquisition The main objective of this course is to give an overview of Modeling and
Simulation initiatives in the Department of Defense and the Industries supporting
it, in the Materiel Acquisition Process, from requirements definition to
demilitarization and disposal. This course will describe how Cost Reductions, Improved Quality Combat Materiel,
and a Significantly Reduced Acquisition Process can be obtained, by using Modeling
and Simulation in the Materiel Acquisition Cycle. Also discussed will be the
effects of ÒGAMES-for children and adultsÓ on Modeling and Simulation; and Modeling
and Simulation winners, such as Boeing 777 and Camanche Helicopter development.
