MWB/LB-136 : Safety At the conclusion of this course, the attendee should have developed an
understanding of the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA)
regulatory requirements as applicable to their workplace environment. This will
include being able to utilize OSHA's General Industry Standards, know the
fundamental concepts of accident prevention, recognize common safety hazards,
plus know the basic principles of a safety and health program. The scope of the material covered in this course will be regulations now in
existence, the scientific theory behind those regulations, and proposed
regulations. Also discussed will be the best management practices for the
control of safety and health hazards. Target audience would include range
managers, technicians responsible for safe conduct of tests, administrative
officers, and anyone with –safety responsibilities” as a (collateral) portion of
their job.
