OBJECTIVE AND SCOPE

This course will be useful to those people who work around explosive devices, which are new, old or experimental. No course can give all that is needed for personnel to become totally proficient in either conducting experiments or testing of explosive devices, due to the variable complexity of the ordnance devices and their variable parameters which are in existence- not even looking at the effect of time on many devices which are in existence.


MATERIAL COVERED

This course consists of a previously developed and presented course on Fuzes and the addition of a portion on Warhead Design and also material on explosives. Safety, Safe Handling Procedures and Lessons Learned will be emphasized by Instructors who have had hands-on experience and are still around to tell about it with most, if not all of their limbs.
