OBJECTIVE & SCOPE
The main objective of this course is to give an overview of the capabilities of the PRODAS computer program, which is becoming of increased importance in our own "STAR WARS" Anti-Ballistic Missiles Systems.
Also covered will be several other computer programs available on the market for Interior, Exterior and Terminal Ballistics, and commercially available Loading Manual Data. Some of these Interior and Exterior Ballistics Computer programs are from: SIERRA (Drag Coefficients, Trajectories and Loading Manual Data for small caliber cartridges); Oehler (Velocity and Strain Gage Pressure Measurement), Chrony (Velocity Measurement and Data Collection and Plotting), etc. Experimental type testing and designing will also be covered.
WHO SHOULD ATTEND:
Engineers and Technicians who design small or large caliger projectiles. Also Technicians who load propellants charges or prepare experimental tests, including small caliber type testing.
